The Opéra-Comique continues its partnership with one of its rising stars. Soprano Julie Roset, accompanied by pianist Susan Manoff, invites the audience on a journey into the heart of French mélodie. A masterpiece of grace and virtuosity, introduced by a lyrical prelude set between New York and Paris.
The heart of this event lies in the coming together of two exceptional performers. Julie Roset, whose crystalline voice recently graced the Metropolitan Opera and the Salle Favart, joins forces with Susan Manoff for a recital of rare poetic beauty.
Opening: A dialogue between young talents
To kick off this prestigious event, the Opéra-Comique is celebrating the spirit of passing on the torch. The first part of the programme features artists from the Opéra-Comique Academy and the Juilliard School, brought together as part of an international exchange with the Villa Albertine.
This opening programme offers a musical journey through French and American repertoires. A vibrant exchange that sets the stage for the two accomplished soloists, elegantly illustrating the passing of the baton from the next generation to established excellence.

In 2026, the Opéra-Comique, in collaboration with The Juilliard School and the Villa Albertine, launched a Franco-American educational and cultural exchange partnership.
This program is part of the Campus Favart initiative, led by Louis Langrée, which places the transmission of knowledge and training at the heart of the institution’s mission. It brings together young artists from the Opéra-Comique Academy and Juilliard’s Marcus Institute for Vocal Arts for masterclasses, workshops, and concerts in Paris and New York.
Conceived as a true international artistic laboratory, this partnership fosters the convergence of artistic practices, repertoires, and generations, while offering artists hands-on experience with the stage and collaborative work.
