The doors of the opera-house open 45 minutes before the performance Conditions of reception of the public may evolve depending on the health situation and sanitary pass requirements.

Main entrance: Place Boieldieu 75002 Paris
For administrative services, the ticket office and, from January 2027, events in the Foyer.

Access for people with reduced mobility: 5 Rue Favart. A lift serves all floors.

Vigipirate >Spectators are asked to open their bags and coats for checking at the entrance to the building. We do not accept means of transport such as scooters, skates or folding bicycles. As the Vigipirate alert level has been raised, suitcases and bulky bags will not be admitted.

    In partnership with the carpark Chauchat Drouot, take advantage of a preferential rate of €12 for 8 hours' parking from 6pm to 2am from 1 July 2025 (voucher available in the theatre hall on the night of the performance).

      Accessibility

      Access to the elevator is located 5, rue Favart. Seats are dedicated to persons with reduced mobility, by reservation at the ticket counter or by phone.
      Headsets and magnetic loops are available for free form the ticket inspection desk just before the show.

        Bags and coats must be presented open at the entrance. Holdall bags, suitcases and bulky items are not permitted.

        Your safety is our priority. To ensure you have a worry-free experience, here is some practical information:

        We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the performance begins.
        You will be asked to present your ticket, and to open your handbag and coat or jacket at the entrance gates, where our reception and security staff will carry out thorough checks.

        Travel bags, suitcases and bulky items are not permitted in our auditoriums or in our cloakrooms.
        Only plastic bottles with a capacity of less than 50 cl are permitted.

          2026–2027 Season

          Whilst the stage pit is being modernised, the Opéra-Comique will be operating outside its usual premises and in the theatre’s foyer. The administrative offices, box office and fundraising department will remain available at the Salle Favart.

          Place Boieldieu remains the main point of contact for ticketing, services and visitor reception, and from January 2027 will host the 62 events in the Foyer programme. The 2026–2027 opera season will be staged at six venues in Paris, Gennevilliers and the Grand Palais. Please find below details of access, transport and services for each of these venues.
