General terms and conditions

Tickets cannot be returned or refunded. An exchange service is available by telephone (€10) up to 48 hours before the performance and subject to availability. Tickets can be sent to your home address up to ten days before the performance date. After this date, tickets booked by telephone or internet can be collected 45 minutes before the start of the performance in the theatre lobby. Please check your ticket when you receive it: no claim for a wrong date, show or price can be accepted later. The resale of tickets at a price higher than that shown on them is prohibited (law of 27 June 1919). The show starts at the specified time: latecomers may be refused access or be subject to conditions, depending on the venue and the show (ask the theatre for information). If the show has to be interrupted for more than half its duration, the ticket will not be refunded. The management may have to change the programme or the cast. In this case, tickets will not be exchanged or refunded. In the event of cancellation of a performance by the Opéra Comique, except in cases of force majeure, which are expressly assimilated to cases of requisition of the Opéra Comique by any public authority for any reason whatsoever, and in the event of a national strike, the value of the face price of the ticket paid by the customer will be refunded by the Opéra Comique upon request by the interested party within a maximum period of two months from the date of the performance and upon presentation of the ticket and a bank account details, to the exclusion of any other compensation or indemnity whatsoever. A processing fee of €3 will be charged for processing files at the box office and by telephone. This service is free for subscribers and e-tickets. E-tickets that are not printed at home will be subject to a printing fee of €3 per file at the control desk on performance days. Reduced rates are valid outside of single-ticket shows, upon presentation of proof and within the limit of available seats.
Gift vouchers are for a predetermined amount of €10, €20, €50, €100 or €150, or for a free amount chosen by the purchaser from €1, and allow the purchase of one or more tickets for a given show - during the period of validity of the voucher (the current season, e.g. 2023).
The sale of show tickets by means of a gift voucher is nominative. The gift voucher does not entitle the holder to admission to the theatre. It must be used to pay for one or more tickets. The gift voucher exists in paper and e-ticket versions. If the value of the gift voucher is greater than the amount of the purchase, no refund will be given, the remaining amount can be used for another purchase. If the value of the gift voucher is less than the amount of the purchase, the beneficiary can complete the price of the ticket, if necessary, with another payment method.
No credits or change can be given. No refunds will be made if the gift voucher has not been used before the end of its validity for any reason whatsoever. In the event of loss or theft of the gift voucher, no duplicate will be issued and no refund or credit will be made. The current General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to tickets purchased with the gift voucher. For the delivery of the gift vouchers to your home, the delivery time is approximately 7 days.
