Brian Zeger
A leading pianist and teacher in the field of vocal music, Brian Zeger works closely with young artists from the Académie de l’Opéra-Comique on an in-depth exploration of the vocal repertoire.
This public session offers a unique glimpse into the teaching process: interpretation, style, listening, and the dialogue between singer and pianist are at the heart of this encounter.
Through this masterclass, the Franco-American partnership truly comes to life, fostering the exchange of experiences and methods between two major training institutions.
In 2026, the Opéra-Comique, in collaboration with The Juilliard School and the Villa Albertine, launched a Franco-American educational and cultural exchange partnership.
This program is part of the Campus Favart initiative, led by Louis Langrée, which places the transmission of knowledge and training at the heart of the institution’s mission. It brings together young artists from the Opéra-Comique Academy and Juilliard’s Marcus Institute for Vocal Arts for masterclasses, workshops, and concerts in Paris and New York.
Conceived as a true international artistic laboratory, this partnership fosters the convergence of artistic practices, repertoires, and generations, while offering artists hands-on experience with the stage and collaborative work.
