Pay what you wish
Rediscover the magic of film photography. In partnership with Chronos, families are invited to have their picture taken in the theatre.
The camera-darkroom, a true work of art inspired by 19th-century travelling photographers, allows portraits to be developed instantly before the eyes of spectators.
At 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.: Paper puppets
For families, ages 6 and up | Free with reservation
Duration: 45 minutes
Capacity: 25 people per time slot (waiting list on site if full)
Puppets will take centre stage at the festival with the show Petite Balade aux Enfers (A Little Trip to Hell). A few days before, come and exercise your creativity by making paper puppets.
Artist Mélanie Apach welcomes you to the stage of the Salle Favart for a fun and creative workshop that will bring your stories to life and spark the imagination of young and old alike.

At 10:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.: Step into the shoes of a choir member

Duration: 30 minutes
During this singing workshop, step into the shoes of a student at the Maîtrise Populaire choir school. A choir director invites you to discover a class: physical and vocal warm-ups, breathing exercises, vocal technique and group voice work.
A fun, participatory experience where you can sing together and understand how to learn to control your voice.
And don't miss the Maîtrise's public class in the Favart room at 3 p.m.!
At 10:45 a.m., 12:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.: Le Mariage de Colombine (The Marriage of Colombine)

Duration: 25 minutes
The famous characters of the commedia dell'arte come to life! Pierrot, Arlequin and Colombine, usually frozen in the painting that adorns the Foyer, step out of the frame for this festive day.
Through comic opera sketches full of fantasy and poetry, the Compagnie Théâtre du Matin invites young and old alike to meet these iconic figures, with humour, interaction and surprises.

The Opéra-Comique costume workshops are coming to you! Marvel at their creations and try on real stage costumes for an unforgettable family experience.

Openness and sharing are part of the Maîtrise Populaire's DNA. Attend a public class for students in the Salle Favart and discover the teaching methods used there.
From 10am to 6pm: Clara et les sortilèges (Clara and the Spells), a podcast for children introducing them to music

Discover the Opéra-Comique with Clara and Léo, two apprentice dressmakers whose needles will bring the theatre's costumes back to life. But what do these fabrics, which have survived the ages, want? What are they clamouring for?
A funny and whimsical tale for children and parents alike.
