Music pieces for Molière
Concert mis en espace
In 1672 Molière quarreled with Lully over the use in his Parisian theater of music composed for court festivities. He then turned to Charpentier who embellished his last pieces with incidental music and continued his collaboration with the Comédiens-Français until 1686.
These overtures and interludes are very seldom played treasures.
