Seminar | Opus 2. What would French music be without the Italians?

Perhaps it’s best not to ask the question— instead, let us celebrate the artists from beyond the Alps who, from the Renaissance to the present day, via Donizetti, have enriched creative vitality and shaped institutions. United with the Comédie- Italienne in the 18ᵗʰ century, the Opéra- Comique continues to explore this remarkable and fruitful relationship.
