Saturday 9th May
On Saturday, May 9, people of all ages are invited to experience the Opéra-Comique in a whole new way: tours, singing, workshops, hands-on activities, exhibitions, and shared moments will make up this free event open to everyone.
Baby choir • 10.15am and 11.15am
Give your child (ages 0-3) a magical first musical experience! A concert where the voices of the Academy’s artists lull little ones into a tender, soothing atmosphere.

Did you know that comic opera traces its origins to the popular songs sung at 18th-century Parisian fairs? Come learn about this history during an interactive lecture led by Judith Le Blanc.

Singing Tour • 1pm and 4pm
Discover the history of the Opéra-Comique through music. Tenor and narrator Grégoire Ichou invites you to explore the institution through his historical commentary and performances of musical excerpts drawn from both the Opéra-Comique’s repertoire and popular songs.

Spend some time with a choir director to discover the secrets of your singing voice. An inclusive workshop for people with psychological and mental disabilities.

Phrasing, technique, style, repertoire: the director of the Opéra-Comique shares his passion and experience with the Academy’s young talents during a master class open to everyone.

Discover the Opéra-Comique with Clara and Léo, two apprentice seamstresses whose needles breathe new life into the theater’s costumes. A funny and lively story for both children and parents.
- Carmen à emporter : les coulisses de l’Opéra-Comique
An educational kit to explore the making of an opera through the story of Carmen, featuring objects, scents, and games.

Exhibition of set models
This season, the Opéra-Comique and the École Bleue are joining forces through a partnership. Eight students are designing set models inspired by the opera Lucia di Lammermoor, offering the public a unique glimpse into the process of set design.
