Thibaut Fack studied the harp, piano and dance before studying interior architecture at the École Boulle in Paris. He joined the National Theater School of Strasbourg under the direction of Stéphane Braunschweig. He designed the sets for shows by Pierre Ascaride, Michel Cerda, Jean-François Peyret, Yves Beausnesne, Jean-Philippe Salério, Nicolas Kerzsenbaum, Cécile Backès, as well as for all of Julia Vidit's creations. For the creation of Georg Kaiser's Le Radeau de la Méduse at the 70th Festival d'Avignon, Thomas Jolly asked him to supervise the student stage designers of the Groupe XXXXII of the École du Théâtre national de Strasbourg.
He also participated in adventures as strong as they were unusual with Yann-Joël Collin (Violences-Reconstitution by Gabily) and especially Olivier Py and Pierre-André Weitz, with whom he regularly worked as a set design assistant and stage manager (Le Soulier de satin by Paul Claudel, La Jeune Fille, Le Diable et le moulin and L'Eau de la vie, based on two Grimm fairy tales, Les Vainqueurs by Olivier Py, L'Orestie by Aeschylus, Les Contes d'Hoffmann by Offenbach at the Grand Théâtre de Genève).
In 2005, on the occasion of the commemoration of the fiftieth anniversary of Claudel's death, he designed the scenography for the exhibition Les Amants stellaires (based on Le Soulier de satin), at the Bibliothèque Historique de la Ville de Laon. In 2007, he directed Woyzeck/Wozzeck, after Alban Berg and Goerg Buchner, at the Odéon-Théâtre de l'Europe during the Berthier'07 Festival.
For the opera, he designed the set and lighting for Chantier/Woyzeck by Aurélien Dumont and 100 (miniatures) by Bruno Gillet, directed by Mireille Laroche, and for three works by Offenbach, Croquefer, L'Île de Tulipatan and La Grande Duchesse (based on La Grande Duchesse de Gérolstein) with the company Les Brigands.
