It is with great sadness and regret that we announce that Maestro Long Yu and his Shanghai Symphony will be unable to participate in the Production of Carmen scheduled for April 2023 at Opera Comique. Due to the ongoing problems of the Covid pandemic, it became impossible to make the necessary logistical arrangements in time.
The Opera Comique hope very much in 2024 or 2025 to arrange a further collaboration with the Beijing Music Festival and Maestro Long Yu.
