Collected personal information is stored on a computerised file by the Théâtre National de l’Opéra Comique – 5 rue Favart – 75002 Paris.

Tickets being nominative, their purchase is conditioned by the mandatory provision of personal data (surname, first name, postal address, email address). Failure to provide this information will prevent the issuing of the tickets.

We may collect and process the following data with your consent:

  • first name and surname;
  • postal address;
  • email address;
  • telephone or mobile phone number;
  • company name and function if you are a professional contact; year of birth.


We will only process or use the collected data to the extent stated below:

  • the implementation and monitoring of a contractual relationship (article 6-1-b of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council 27 April 2016);
  • the conduct of statistical studies regarding the activities of the Théâtre National de l’Opéra Comique  (article 6-1-f of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council 27 April 2016);
  • the agreed transmission of information regarding the activities of the Théâtre National de l’Opéra Comique (article 6-1-a of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council 27 April 2016), only if you have consented;
  • the transmission of promotional offers regarding the Théâtre National de l’Opéra Comique (article 6-1-a of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council 27 April 2016), only if you have consented.

Data access

Access to your personal data is strictly limited to the ticket-office and PR staff and, when appropriate, to the subcontractors of the Théâtre National de l’Opéra Comique dealing with the provision, use and maintenance of the software involving the collected data. These subcontractors are obliged to fully comply with data protection regulations and can only use your data in compliance with our contractual provisions and the applicable legislation. Other than the above cases, we undertake not to sell, rent, transfer or give third parties access to your data without your prior consent, unless compiled to do so on legitimate grounds (legal obligation, fight against fraud or abuse, exercise of rights of defence, etc.)

Data retention period

Data is stored for:

  • 5 or 10 years for data collected for the implementation and monitoring of contractual relationships, including ticket sales;
  • 3 years maximum after our last exchange for professional contacts;
  • until reception of your request to unsubscribe from general information (newsletter) and targeted offers’ mailings.;

During this period, we will use all the relevant means to ensure the confidentiality and security of your personal details, so as to prevent their damage, erasure or access by unauthorised third parties.

Your Rights - contact us

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 and with the European Reglation n°2016/679/UE of 27 April 2016, you have legal right of access, rectification, portability and erasure of your personal details, as well as a right to limit your data’s processing. On legitimate grounds, you may also object to the processing of your personal details.
You can withdrawn your consent to the processing and use of your data at any time.
