In September, the Opéra-Comique welcomed children aged 0 to 3 for a gentle and immersive musical experience. Under the direction of choir director Iris Thion-Poncet, artists from the Opéra-Comique Academy performed a programme of lullabies and melodies dedicated to sleep.
The voices of Déborah Salazar (soprano) and Félix Merle (baritone), accompanied by Flore-Élise Capelier on the piano, invited families on a soothing musical journey featuring works by Gounod, Poulenc, Fauré, Massenet, Debussy and Chaminade.
The theme ‘Harmonies of Sleep’ will return for a new session on 14 February 2026, before giving way, in May and June 2026, to a new cycle entitled ‘Spring Awakening’, celebrating light and musical rebirth.
Each Baby Choir session offers a time for parents and children aged 0 to 3 to share in a caring environment where music becomes a common language.
