« The Favart Spirit has inspired us to curate an exceptional season. »
Louis Langrée Director of the Opéra-Comique
The realisation of this touring season owes much to the institutions that host and support it, among which the Grand Palais, the Théâtre de Gennevilliers, the Musée d'Orsay, the Cité internationale des Arts, the TAP–Scène nationale de Grand Poitiers, the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, the Opéra de Rennes, Lycée Carnot and Collège François Couperin, The Juilliard School and Villa Albertine…
Alongside 109 performances across the regions, in Paris and in Île-de-France, our programme will also take over our opera house's Foyer as of January 2027, presenting 62 original performances at a single price of €10.
Our deepest thanks go to the artists who have risen to the challenge of performing elsewhere and differently: Pascal Dusapin for a world premiere, Raphaël Pichon, Sabine Devieilhe, Léo Cohen-Paperman, Jeanne Desoubeaux, Daniel Jeanneteau, Marie-Christine Soma, George Benjamin, Lucie Leguay, Tamara Bounazou, Mathieu Romano, Netia Jones, Philippe Béziat and so many others.
« May the Favart Spirit bring enchantment to this season! »
Louis Langrée Director of the Opéra-Comique
The Campus Favart is expanding its vision on a large scale: the Académie brings together two cohorts of young professional performers, powerfully reaffirming our commitment to the next generation of artists. Meanwhile, the Maîtrise Populaire celebrates ten years of its successful innovative project, with Pene Pati as patron for this season.
We extend heartfelt gratitude to our governing body, the French State, whose support sustains this house and fully funds this upcoming renovation, thus completing the overall restoration begun in 2015–2016. We thank it for caring for the most marvellous of musical and theatrical instruments: the Salle Favart.
Our warmest thanks also go to Aline Foriel-Destezet, our principal patron, as well as to all our benefactors. Their commitment to the Favart Spirit encourages us to pursue our mission of developing lyric art in its many forms.
Accompanied by the talent and energy of the remarkable teams of the Théâtre national de l'Opéra-Comique, I invite you to discover our 2026–2027 season. Bold and joyful, it will allow us to meet again throughout the year and to draw from these encounters the momentum for a splendid reopening of the Salle Favart in autumn 2027.
