Evgeny Titov

Evgeny Titov was born in Kazakhstan. After training as an actor at the St. Petersburg Theatre Academy, he initially worked as an actor in Russia before studying directing at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna. Evgeny is now one of the most sought after directors in theatre and opera across Europe. As an internationally acclaimed director his work has taken him from the Dresden State Theatre, where he directed the World Premiere of Martin Heckmann's My Heart Is Pure; to the Linz State Theatre; to the Düsseldorf Theatre (Shakespeare's Macbeth and Richard III as well as Arthur Miller's The Crucible), to the Salzburg Festival (Maxim Gorky's Summer Guests), and to the Munich Residenz Theatre.
