Voix en partage - Saturday 10 May at 3pm
Discovering the operatic repertoire in public is great, but practising it in song is even better! Come and learn the arias from La Grande Affabulation in these participatory workshops, on your own or with your family, from age 6 upwards.
La Grande Affabulation, 10-16 May 2025 at the Opéra-Comique
For the Maîtrise Populaire de l'Opéra-Comique, Geoffroy Jourdain and Benjamin Lazar have composed a colourful show in which the spirit of the ‘fable en musique’ of the early days of opera mingles with that of processions and popular festivals.
In this journey, they cross the eras and glean other music, modern and contemporary, to accompany their mysterious quest. This musical ‘grand affabulation’ weaves together the story of this journey of initiation.
Choir leader Iris Thion-Poncet - Pianist Juliette Journaux
Free upon reservation | Duration: 1 hour | From age 6
