What better association than the Opéra-Comique, the Palazzetto Bru Zane - Centre de Musique Romantique Française and the Musée d'Orsay to talk about French Love ou d'"Amour à la Française"?!
The perfect connection between music, theatre, pictorial art and sculpture. Both Belle Epoque and modern, the performance offers a light and subtle opportunity to consider Love from various angles. You’ll discover four strong-willed women of great charm who pursue a young bumbling naïf through various games of seduction. Performed by the soloists of the Opéra-Comique’s Académie, musical works of art by Jacques Offenbach, Reynaldo Hahn, Gaston Serpette, Hervé and Louis Varney resonate with the paintings exhibited under the dome of the Musée d’Orsay. Whether intimate or dazzling, each courtship scene is an excuse to play with words, double meanings and self-irony. A real delight!
