On 18th November, the Opéra Comique, chaired by Christine d'Ornano, invites you to a gala evening held under the theme of the "oiseau rebelle". Dive into the world imagined by Eric Chauvin and Vincent Darré, enjoy the meal created by the chef Alain Passard and let yourself be transported by Emmanuelle Alt’s musical atmosphere.

7pm: Prologue

Poetic immersion in the world of the Opéra Comique, from the Salle Boieldieu to the corridors. With Vincent Darré, Éric Chauvin and Hubert Barrière

8pm: Act I

Premiere with the Maîtrise Populaire and the Opéra Comique’s iconic artists: Julie Fuchs, Marie Lenormand, Philippe Talbot and Alexandre Duhamel, Frivolités Parisiennes orchestra conducted by Julien Masmondet

9pm: Act II

Dinner created by Alain Passart

Auction hosted by Nicolas Maury and Christie’s

11pm: Act III

After Party - Club Oiseau Rebelle with the participation of Emmanuelle Alt

Silent Auction

The Gala Organising Committee launches today a silent auction which will be closed at 11pm on the 18th of November. The bids and donations will help support the Opéra Comique’s lyrical creations and societal schemes. Make a bid and win a private concert by Marianne Crebassa or an Eva Jospin tapestry. Environmental responsibility

This event was developed in accordance with anti-waste and environmental responsibility values. It fits in with the Opéra Comique’ sustainable development scheme. The feathers used for the event are recycled from previous creations, no animal was harmed. The mounted birds come from zoos, circuses or animal parks and died of natural causes. The plants are rented in pots so as to be used again, and the costumes and decors are from previous productions of the Opéra Comique.

What will the funds be used for?

For the last twenty years, the Opéra Comique has been influential in France and all over the world, as far as China. Its productions, renown for their audacity and creativity, its commitment to accessibility and the training the opéra Comique offers young talents, make it a dynamic and innovative opera house. The funds collected during the event will support the Opéra Comique’s societal schemes and its programming.
