Concours voix nouvelles 2018

The concours (competitive examination), initiated in 1988 by the Centre Français de Promotion Lyrique, is intended for vocalists under age 32 from participating French-speaking countries. Its aim is to select new operatic vocalists and help them succeed in their occupational integration. In collaboration with opera houses in France, Belgium, Switzerland and Canada, hundreds of young vocalists have been selected for the fourth national final. At the end of this last stage, the best candidates will perform in a series of concerts in the spring of 2019 organized by the opera houses associated to this project.
