On Tuesday 25 October, the Maison Lenôtre received the Opéra Comique and a jury composed of artists and pastry chefs in order to reach an agreement over the terms and conditions for the creation of the Favart cake. The answers from the 64 participants puzzled the chefs and gave lots of ideas to this outstanding team.
So, what does the Opéra Comique taste like? Between French gastronomy, thirst for exoticism, the sparkle of the genre and the femininity of the repertoire, adjectives abounded to describe the Parisian institution and make our mouths water.
The next stage is to be held on 29 November 2016 at the Maison Lenôtre workshops with the first recipes to be proposed.
