Choral singing in the spotlight

The concert Obliques was played at the Opéra Comique on the occasion of the evening dedicated to the Fondation Bettencourt-Schueller.

The music program, conceived by Mathieu Romano and carried out by Xavier Veilhan, took the audience on a voyage of discovery of either intriguing, mysterious, moving or amusing universes. The participation of the Opéra Comique’s Maîtrise Populaire was conceived has the red thread linking the intense parts of the program performed by Ensemble Aedes et Les métaboles.

The Maîtrise Populaire of the Opéra-Comique

The Maîtrise Populaire de l'Opéra-Comique, is an artistic, educational and social project founded by Sarah Koné. It accompanies 120 young people aged 8 to 25 and trains them in the performing arts throughout their schooling.
