After being named Talent Adami Classique 2023, Camille Chopin went on to win the Centre Nadia and Lili Boulanger’s Price and the Grand Prix Révélation at Avignon Opera’s Jeunes Espoirs Raymond Duffaut competition. She also joins the Opera Comique Académie in Paris for the 2023-2024 season.

Camille Chopin took her first steps on stage at the age of ten with the Sotto Voce Children’s Choir, then at twelve as Brigitta in The Sound of Music at the Théâtre du Châtelet. Her many stage experiences from an early age have given her a certain ease and flair for acting. She also demonstrates a strong literary sensibility (graduated in Letters and Arts from the Université Paris Diderot in 2017). She then trained at the Departement Supérieur pour Jeunes Chanteurs at the CRR in Paris before obtaining her Singing Diploma at the CNSMDP with congratulations from the jury in 2022. As part of Fonds Tutti’s first Tremplin program, she is mentored by soprano Nicole Car.

She was Little Red Riding Hood in Sondheim’s Into the Woods at the Amphithéâtre de l’Opéra de Paris, directed by Charlotte Nessi and Mike Guermyet, Servilia in L’Affaire Clemenza at La Seine Musicale with the Plein Jour company and Franck Krawczik, Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro, Adina in l’Elisir d’amore with the Cosa Sento collective, the Princess and the Cat in L’Enfant et les sortilèges with the Ginette company, Barbarina in Le Nozze di Figaro with Opera Fuoco. She also took part in Emmanuelle Haïm’s production of Le retour à Versailles.

In 2024, she was the soprano in Mozart’s Mass in C minor conducted by Marc Korovitch at the Montpellier Corum, and in Stravinsky’s Pulcinella at the Opéra Comique, conducted by Louis Langrée and directed by Guillaume Galienne.

She is a member of the Æsthesis quartet, with whom she recorded her first album, « O do not move », released in October 2022. Her duo with pianist Héloïse Bertrand-Oleari and her baroque ensemble Aîsa are supported by the Jeunes Talents association.

In 2025 and 2026, Camille Chopin will perform at the Opéra de Paris, Théâtre des Champs Elysées, Festival d’Aix en Provence, Opéra de Toulon and Opéra du Rhin.

Camille Chopin is a member of the Académie de l'Opéra-Comique for the 2023-2024 season.
