Cyrille Dubois and Tristan Raës: an evening of melodies ‘Just like at home...’

Tenor Cyrille Dubois and pianist Tristan Raës present a recital at the Salle Favart dedicated to home – that of the Opéra-Comique, but also that of the heart, intimate and familiar, where singing unfolds naturally.

Under the title ‘L'Amour du chant: Comme à la maison...’ (The Love of Singing: Just Like Home...), the two artists offer a programme dedicated to composers who have created at least one comic opera at the Salle Favart, while exploring their works in the field of French melody. Pieces by Massenet, Bizet, Saint-Saëns, Delibes, Messager, as well as Charlotte Grandval and Louis Beydts, compose a journey between stage and salon, between dramatic writing and poetic expression.

Accompanied by artists from the Académie de l'Opéra-Comique, Cyrille Dubois and Tristan Raës perform a repertoire that originated in 19th-century Parisian salons, where theatre took on an intimate dimension.
