Passionate about all repertoires, Félix Merle has always sought to cultivate curiosity. He began music with the dual apprenticeship of singing and harpsichord. Thus the baroque repertoire retains a special place in his work. Then joining the CRR of Paris, he perfected his choir practice within the Jeune Choeur de Paris. Also introduced to French operetta by the baritone Franck Leguerinel, he then put on his own show Ne Tirez pas sur l'opérette which he created in 2021.

From then on, he continued his training at the Conservatoire National de Paris. He then had the opportunity to perform on stage and play Riff in West Side Story as well as the Tree and the Armchair in L'Enfant et les sortilèges by Ravel. Alongside his studies, he can be heard in the baroque repertoire with the Ensemble Correspondance directed by Sébastien Daucé, at La Folle journée in Nantes with the Paris Mozart Orchestra and at the Labopéra Seine et Marnes. In the field of melody, he won two prizes in a duo with pianist Flore-Elise Capelier, as part of the 12th International Competition of French Melody in Toulouse 2023 (the Contemporary Melody Prize and the Génération Opéra Prize).

He is a member of the Académie de l'Opéra-Comique (2025/2026 season).
