Iván Delgado



Iván Delgado del Rio studied dance with the San Ildefonso group, where he prepared to enter the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza de Sevilla. In 2006, he won a one-year scholarship to the London Studio Center at the National Dance Competition in Castellón. While there, he was a member of the Images of Dance company. In 2007, he was selected to study at the English National Ballet School. While at the school, he worked with the English National Ballet and toured nationally and internationally. In 2009, he signed his first professional contract with Scottish Ballet.

Since then, he has worked with a number of companies, including Matthew Bourne's New Adventures, New English Ballet Theater, Corella Ballet, Carmen Roche Ballet and Staatstheater Nürnberg Ballet. Recent projects include Mon premier Lac des cygnes (Théâtre Mogador) and Mon premier Casse-Noisette (Théâtre du Châtelet). He also takes part in numerous galas, and is a guest teacher at schools such as the Institut del Teatre, PAR Dansa and the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza de Sevilla.
