For the European Heritage Day on Sunday 17 September, the Opéra Comique opens its doors and is glad to present its 2018 season.
Would you like to make a tour of one of the best kept treasures in Paris and let yourself be surprised by musical happenings with the Maîtrise populaire de l’Opéra Comique, the ensemble Les Dissonances, the orchestra Le Balcon? Do you feel like learning how to sing with choirmaster Christophe Grapperon? What about coming to our bar for a drink before meeting the artists who touched you or those still unknown to you?
You’re welcome to our theater from 10 am to 6.30 pm
10 am: opening
11 am to 12 pm: presentation of the 2018 season (reserve your skip-the-line ticket)
12 pm to 12.30 pm: Concert by the Maîtrise Populaire de l’Opéra Comique
3pm to 3.30 pm: Concert by Les Dissonances – Mozart (“Gran Partita”)
4 pm to 4.30 pm: Concert for families by Le Balcon
5 pm to 6.15 pm: Concert by Les Dissonances – Mozart (String Quartet No. 19 “Dissonance”) and Schubert (String Quartet No. 14 “Death and the Maiden”)
All day: guided tours with songs and surprises, sung tours in family, make-up workshop from 11 am to 6 pm in the rotunda of Foyer Favart.
